IADAC has created this free online Continuing Education program for California auto dealers and sales staff.  This course can be completed at no charge by a dealer needing a continuing education certificate for license renewal.  Dealer's staff are also encouraged to complete this free program so they may become more informed and contribute to the overall compliance of the dealership.

Dealers seeking a Continuing Education certificate for license renewal will receive the certificate via regular mail after successful completion of the course.  There are no provisions for overnight or rush orders.  Individuals who qualify for receiving a certificate after successful completion of the Continuing Education course are as follows:
  • Owner of a dealership registered as a sole proprietor.
  • Sales Manager
  • Owner, partner or officer of a corporation (i.e. ABC Sales Inc, or ABC Sales LLC) Note: this person is required to be a part of the ownership structure and who is required to submit a Personal History Statement, and who will have primary responsibility for managing the day to day dealership business.
At this time you need to register for the course.  Include the following information in an email to Larry@iadac.org:  1) Name of person taking course, 2) full dealership name and 3) email address.  A link to the course will be emailed to you.  Questions?  Call the IADAC office at 916-893-3306.
