Dealer Continuing Education (Continuing Education Only)

IADAC has created this online Continuing Education program for California auto dealers and sales staff.  This course can be completed by a dealer needing a Continuing Education certificate for license renewal.  Dealer's staff are also encouraged to complete this program so they may become more informed and contribute to the overall compliance of the dealership.

The cost of the class is $55.00 for IADAC Members and $65.00 for non-IADAC Members.  Payment is due via credit/debit card or PayPal prior to taking the course.

Dealers seeking a Continuing Education certificate for license renewal will receive the Certificate via regular mail after successful completion of the course.  Overnight or rush orders are available at additional postage cost.  Individuals who qualify for receiving a Certificate after successful completion of the Continuing Education course are as follows:

  • Owner of a dealership registered as a sole proprietor.
  • Sales Manager
  • Owner, partner or officer of a corporation (i.e. ABC Sales Inc, or ABC Sales LLC) Note: this person is required to be a part of the ownership structure and who is required to submit a Personal History Statement, and who will have primary responsibility for managing the day to day dealership business.

At this time you need to register for the course.  Include the following information in an email to  

  • Name of person taking the course and the person's position

  • Full Dealership Name and DMV Dealer Number

  • e-Mail address
